Tim has dedicated over 25 years to the field of developmental disabilities, consistently advancing the quality of care and support for individuals with diverse needs. Since joining The NEEDS Center in 2014, he has been a cornerstone in shaping the organization’s mission and growth. His career, which began in direct care, speaks to his deep commitment to understanding and addressing the challenges faced by individuals with developmental disabilities. In his early years, Tim worked as a supervisor in day services settings, specifically supporting individuals with challenging behaviors—a role that honed his skills in crisis prevention and behavior management.

Prior to his time with The NEEDS Center, Tim worked at other prominent agencies, including Amego Inc., Vinfen Corporation, and North East ARC. His experience at these organizations further solidified his expertise in managing complex service needs, leading teams, and advocating for individuals who may not always have a voice in their care.

Throughout his career, Tim has demonstrated a passion for leadership, earning multiple positions of responsibility in different aspects of human services. As a trainer in crisis prevention and behavior management, he has shared his extensive knowledge with colleagues, empowering them with the tools they need to handle difficult situations effectively and safely. His leadership in training programs has had a lasting impact on staff development and the overall quality of services provided to clients.

At The NEEDS Center, Tim has played a pivotal role in expanding the organization’s Day Services Division, which focuses on providing individuals with enriching activities that promote independence, personal growth, and social inclusion. Tim was also instrumental in the opening of the residential group residences, an essential step in providing individuals with developmental disabilities the opportunity for a more independent and integrated living experience.
